1949 Nash, really neat car. This photo makes me wonder if the model was going to demonstrate the fold into a bed front seat. I remember at the time they called the grille a massive racing style grille.

I'm really not a fan of skirted FRONT wheels. Other than that looks alright!

A reall beauty. Classic looks and styling, ageless. Nice car, too.

Actually, in the preceding year, I thought Nash had the most beautiful front end of any '48 model.

Yes it did but I'm partial to the Mercury because of the chrome side trim on the fenders.

I like the chromed stone shield on the rear fender of the 48 Nash, they were usually black.

I don't think that is a skirt but part of the fender. Changing tires must have been hard. Didn't they call this car the bathtub?

You know, this Nash looks a lot like the 1941 Chrysler Thunderbolt dream car.

Well, it must be the fender. The Thunderbolt had a similar look but the chrome part came off.
