Ok, now were getting somewhere. I assume it's a sedan, not a wagon or hatchback. There are 4 different models of Sedans listed on the Kelly Blue book site, not to mention Automatic or Manual transmission. Your still a little light on your facts. I pretty much guessed on your options and I come up with $3,900 in good condition, and that's what your asking for it. No bargain there. When I think of desirable high mileage cars I think Honda or Toyota, not Ford.
It's not that they you can't get a lot of miles out of a Ford, My Ford Cougar had 200k miles on it and it ran fine before I traded it in for a newer car, but the perception of older Fords isn't as good as Older Honda's.
Also I checked Ebay, nothing matching your description has come up on Ebay in the last two weeks either selling or unsold.

It is a 2005 ford focus . It is locaded in Washington st right now
I drive a Ford Focus and I'm very satisfied with it. Glad you sold it by the way. Personally, I think the high mileage on the car turned a lot of people off.
I am selling our car on e bay. It is ony 7 years old but has 149,000 miles. However, it has a clean title, no accidents and it runs perfectly. New transmition, cat-converter as of last year. We have never ignored any issues with the car but always taken care of any "issues" right away.
I just want to know why I can' t seem to sell it. All I am asking is 3,900 dollars. Kbb's price is way above that for that model car in its condition.
...and your point is? Why would anyone sell a car on a website when it can easily be sold locally?

Well, for exposure to interested people for one.
I just sold a 1974 VW Thing for $10,000 off a ad I posted on a VW forum. My buyer drove out from New Mexico to buy it.
By placing a ad online you get get hundreds of thousands of views to sell it.
I have sold old Volvos and Fiats the same way. A lot less hassle that tire kickers who offer you 10% of your asking price.

So you think the market for a vintage VW, Volvo, or Fiat is the same as that for a high-mileage 2005 Focus? Interesting.
