Ive got a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Malibu. It was my fathers pride and joy. Great car with great memories. Im looking to go the online auction route. Any tips for a first timer?

If it's in pristine, show quality condition, then your better avenue to sell this will be a dedicated collector car auction where your buyers can see the vehicle.

If it's just in average street condition for it's age, your sentimental value is not important to a buyer. Set a reasonable reserve price and let the market give you true price discovery. Lots of pictures of a clean car will help present what you've got to offer, and a capsule description of the maintenance records will help a buyer reach a bid decision.

Do you really need the money that bad? Why not keep your Dad's car?
