What's up with making up to 7-8 year old kids sit in a car seat anyway....what's up with that? I used to stand up in the back seat when I was two or three...no laws against it then.
Probably because we know that head trauma to a two or three year old can have severe consequences to their mental development...
You used to stand up in the back seat at that age you say? Ohhhhh... Now I understand the "reasoning" behind your posts.
The point is that people inside that Camry will survive while your 86 vette will kill everybody inside. Car design went forward, crumple zones and safety cages made cars safer not more dangerous than ever before.
'86 'Vette? What '86 'Vette? I didn't mention an '86 'Vette.

Most 1968 cars would probably score very poorly in contemporary crash tests.
And yet, many people did survive some pretty severe accidents in '60s and '70s cars. But safety isn't the topic of this thread.
There are way more old Honda Accords than any old Oldsmobile, Buick, or Pontiac. Most of those got traded in for Cash for Clunkers. Just to be clear, Olds, Buick, Pontiac, etc. were the clunkers.
I see quite a few Olds, Buick, Pontiac, etc "clunkers" selling for $10,000, $20,000, $30,000+.

I agree...that's a very nice ride that ^ cat has. The color is his own thing...I only do black or gray cars and trucks but it's still a nice ride. I like it!
What does that have to do with performance and handling?
Nothing, perhaps you should ask yourself the same thing before you derail the topic.
