Yeah, but why would it be at what looks like a 4 way intersection, not my first choice for a place to swim

Looks like the shark was drawn in after the sign was in place. Looks like a skating or running crossing sign.

In our city park we have a sign for duck crossing. Some places around here have signs for gator crossing.

Strangest one I have ever seen was near a Dunkin Donuts in Kingston NY. It was one of those yellow pedestrian crossing signs with the lone male stick figure crossing the street. But in the figure's hand was a black cherry bomb. Just like this: but with out the sparking fuse. At first I thought someone just put a sticker on the sign but it was...part of the sign, totally smooth if you ran your finger over it, nothing to scratch or peel. I don't know if someone just did a really good job of painting it on or what. But to this day I find it funny. Surprised there wasn't a bomb squad called in for it in this day and age, haha.

Have another look at the photo, the stick person is on a swim/ski board, see the fin on the rear/bottom of the board. Odd because they don't show any water. surfing on pavement? LOL

Did you catch the kangaroo mating one? LOL

There are lots of them here:

The best sign I've ever heard of, not a road sign, but in a book store: "Unattended children will be given a double latte and a puppy."
