I'm sure you are correct. Except you won't be able to afford going to nice parties because you spent all your money on your car. As they say in Texas: all hat, no cattle.
I have a better suggestion for how to use your money. Buy a clue.
Start with a Honda or a Toyota, or even a 2007-or-later Hyundai. The maintenance costs on a MB will drain your wallet repeatedly, let alone the gas and insurance costs on top of taht.
If you get a Mercedes-Benz, they will require good upkeep. The engine requires 5W-30 or 5W-40 full synthetic oil, holds about 8.5 quarts and requires a premium oil fitler.

What is significant about the 2007 model year for Hyundai?
Most of the gold diggers I have encountered actually look for current Mercedes, and then it's generally the SL, SLS, and AMGs that would get a second glance. That is, until they find someone with a better car. So, I don't think you'll have a problem with a previous generation C-Class, unless, of course, said ladies happen to be Mercedes techs and want to give you their business card.
