Best, 2000 Dodge Dakota Sport 4.7 4WD. By far best vehicle I've ever owned. Been a GREAT rig.

Worst, , no doubt, was my 77 Z 28 Camaro. Beautiful car, but I was never ending , under the hood on it. I would vet it running top shelf, but it wouldn't stay that way for more than a week. Nickel and dimed me to death.

Best, 1999 Ford Taurus. Loved that car and had close to 200,000 mi on it and sold it, it's still being driven.

Worst - not really one yet. Most annoying would be the 2013 Hyundai Accent I traded in today, it ran great, handled great, got great gas mileage - but was just too low to the ground. Bottomed out on speed bumps, even little ones. Traded it in on a slightly higher off the ground Veloster.

Best was a 987 Porsche Cayman S. Worst? Probably 3000GT SL. Just a lousy excuse for a sports car.

Reading the responses has been fun. I have driven some real junk but the winner is a 1953 Buick that was given to me. In this car I was given a warning ticket for having bad shocks. Lever actions shocks did nothing and car would bounce for 2 or 3 min after stopping. I welded the shocks and kept driving only to be given a ticket and spending about 3 hrs in jail for having a headlight out. I had an out of state license and not enough cash for a bond. After fixing the headlight I was driving through Champaign IL several weeks later when the rusty gas tank straps broke and the gas tank fell out. I put the tank in the trunk, ran a plastic hose from the tank to the fuel line under the car and drove on. That knocked enough rust loose that the carb plugged up and it stopped. I left it where it was. Best car was my 1954 Studebaker 406 cu in Chevy, alcohol injected, 15.5-1 cr, 0-135 MPH in 9.8 sec. It used 2.5 gal of alcohol to go 1/4 mi.

I see alot of nissans, hondas and toyotas listed under best cars.

I owned a few cars that served me well. My honda and nissan, that i still currently own and doesn't have many miles on them, have served me quite well so far. Absolutely no complaints. I also owned a 95 toyota tercel that was running like a champ before i totaled it.

The worst car was my jaguar. It constantly broke down, needed a new motor and was a piece of junk. It was a 2003 x type meaning ford company made the transmission. From that point on, i vowed not to buy another ford or european car ever again. I also owned a dodge neon, and while it was a solid college car, it literally was made out of plastic. I traded it in with 106k miles on it but i knew the transmission was going to fail pretty soon. I had transmission problems ever since it had 45k miles on it. And the steering column just flat out broke on me which was a 1000 dollar repair....
