Did that Mazda 3 comment sting you a little or something? There is never a reason or excuse to be on somebodies bumper. Unless you want to get pulled over at least, (which cops will do around here if you're not giving 2 seconds of driving distance). I think everybody knows the left lane is for passing rule. Although when I drive to and from work downtown the interstate is a grid lock so it doesn't really apply then because no lanes are moving yet mazda 3 guy still feels a need to be 2 feet from your bumper in stop & go traffic because he's had 3 energy drinks already and is rocking to some british pop rock.

I mostly observe the tailgating on city streets where my apartment is and there are stop lights every 100 to 200 yards They feel the need to speed up to 40 (in a 25 mph limit) right when the light turns green only to have to slow down 3 seconds later because the light up ahead is already red, which they would have noticed if they actually looked ahead more than 30 feet.

BMW 3 Series. They think they are racer car drivers driving an expensive race car. Also true with mid/lower level Audi's. Pickup Trucks that have been raised a foot or so higher off the ground then standard. They think they are NASCAR drivers.
