I had new break pads put on my car the other day and there are a bunch of finger streaks around my tire region on both sides of my car. I tried washing it off, but that didnt work. Is there anything that will take the brake fluid off( i am assuming it is brake fluid) ?

I've never had that problem and don't know anyone who did, so don't know what to use to remove it. But you'll know it's brake fluid if the paint dissolves.

Yes, there is.
Take your car back to the slob who did your brakes.
And have them clean all those finger streaks off.

It's probably not fluid, since it'd be eating your paint by now of it was. It's just smudges from all the grime. If using regular car wash soap didn't work, the next thing up would be liquid dish detergent. But, if you do that, make sure to wax the area after because the soap will remove any wax there.

WD 40 will clean up that area then wash with soap and water and apply some wax.

Brake fluid does eat through the paint fairly fast, so it's most likely just grease. Actually, a little transmission fluid does a good job cleaning off grease, then rinse.

Just was the car with any common car wash. If its stubborn then use WD40 to remove it then wash the wd40 off with car wash.
