Gray is the best. Black looks sharp but in warm weather cities (L.A., Phoenix, Miami, Las Vegas), it's get way too hot in the summer and is not worth the look. Tan interiors can change color with sun exposure. Gray is the best among these three. But in terms of appearance, I like white the best. It's hard to find. Certain vehicles have them like Land Rover, BMW Jaguar and Audi and it looks sharp.

Back in the early 90's GM had a paint color called 'polo green' (mostly used on Corvette and Camaro), and that color only looked good with tan interior.

Iam with you regarding white interiors.
My 66 Tbird has white with red accents.

White looks very good as long as it's clean (which yours is).

How about chamois(yellow) interior? I love it in our Mustang GT. You ain't gonna see another like it either. Extremely rare.

I agree. You can always use seat covers to keep them clean.

I don't like tan...mostly because cars have black dashboards. When the interior is tan, you are really getting 2 toned - black with tan.

Also many cars have grayish plastic trim here and there. Then you have gray, black and tan.

For this reason, I like charcoal gray or black interiors. They match the colors of the dash and match any gray trim.

In an older classic car: red - whites.

But in a newer car my favorite is tan. If you have leather it is pretty clean. White exterior - tan interior is my first choise.

You can see dust easier with black.

A tan leather interior is the best! Especially when on an Aston Martin, but it works well on other cars too, depending on the external color. Much more of a deluxe, sumptuous sort of feeling.

I haven't seen a tan interiro with a black dashboard as someone is saying above - I can imagine that would look ugly though.

Black or charcoal interiors - mehhhh -a bit common.

As for the tan getting dirty, what the hell are you guys? Oil workers? A monthly valet takes care of that.

Lots of red Ferraris have tan leather interiors, and they look fantastic. That is a classic combination.

I wonder if what some are complaining about here is really beige, not tan. Soooooo many vehicles have beige cloth and it does indeed look bland.

But tan leather looks like hide, real animal skin. Looks great. Ford F150s with the King Ranch package look great too.

But if I'm shopping for a used car for my child to drive, the color of the interior is way down on my list of priorities.
