It gets to be such a habit sometimes I turn it on when I turn around the levels in a parking garage, then I feel silly. Then I go out on the freeway and forget once and get to feel silly again. Later I turn it on and forget to turn it off for three miles and feel silly once more. I think turn signals are thee to make us feel silly.
Your the person who keeps your blinker on for miles! Lol What sucks is when a semi does this. It will literally impede traffic until people understand that the semi must have forgot to turn it off.
I don't think I even let go of the switch when I get over and turn it off immediately.

I am not "the person" who does that, but I have done it once or twice in my life. Maybe even ten times, I drive a lot. There are probably not many mistakes I have not made.
The people in this area are quiet dimwitted......not all, but a LOT.
I drive through town nice and easy because.....well, I have figured out you get caught at the lights no matter what speed you are going. So many morons accelerating hard....all the way to the next stop light.
Jesus Christ you people are uptight. If there is ample room in the lane next to you to safely make a lane change, a turn signal is a nice way of communicating but not necessary. Only when the lane is packed full of cars and you would like for someone to let you in do you need to notify them with a turn signal.
If you're merging into the left lane and cause someone to slow down, then yeah you're a jerk. But if you're merging into the right lane (which theoretically should be slower than the lane you're leaving) and the guy behind you tries to speed up, **** him and merge anyway.

I blinkered every time I turned or changed lanes today. Even when I left my driveway and no other cars were within 2 miles. OP would be proud!
Yes, I do the same.......always signal and also make full stops at stop signs. You really cannot be aware of who is around you, so it is best to be error on the side of caution and let anyone/everyone know your intentions.
Of course signaling............will not work....when the idiot jams on the gas when he sees you signal. Why are people such morons???????????
