I don't know which forum would be best for this question.

If the item in the link was stored in the trunk of my car, would it crack (heavy plastic and vinyl bag) from the cold of the winter and the heat of the summer? Link: (Continental Huskeeâ„¢ Blue 37" X-Frame Folding Cart 275 | Utility Carts - Wasserstrom Restaurant Supply. It collapses and folds up. I don't have a garage.

Thanks to any and all who can answer.

I would not worry about something made to hold out door trash cans being inside my car.

Okay, good to know. Many thanks! Oddly, I've seen it called a hotel laundry cart (when the vinyl bag for spray bottles is not attached) and referred to as a janitorial cart when the trash bag and spray bottles bag are attached.

It shouldnt. However if it gets cold enough everything becomes brittle even some metals. Ths, if it were say 40 below zero and something hard hit it it would probably shatter or at least crack.

That's thick plastic. It would have to get unbelievably cold for it to have an effect.

OP, I don't know where you live, but if its in a hot climate, then that will pose a much greater risk to plastic than the cold. I live in TX, the temp can get to 110 F, inside the car it's probably close to 180 after a while. We had a television that my mother was going to give to a coworker. She put it in the backseat of her car and forgot about it. Later that day she remembered it and asked another coworker to get it out of the backseat. Car had been parked in the sun for hours.

As soon as he tried to lift it, the plastic frame shattered.
