No law states you have to answer their questions nor comply with their request to pull in for "stage 2" or whatever they call it.
They did by supreme court ruling get permission to have these stations within 100 miles of US borders, they were also allowed to stop you and ask questions, but that's where it ends. You do not have to answer them, you do not have to pull in for further questioning/searches and if they try to pull anything, a camera can be exactly what keeps them in line.
And it IS legal to film any and all LE personnel, there is no expectation of privacy on a public highway.
One trick to stop them from performing an illegal search/seizure is to not roll your window down, or only roll it down a tiny bit so they can't try to reach in to the car and open the door.
It's important to know both your rights and responsibilities as well as how far the police can legally go, something as simple as knowing you can say no to their requests is incredibly important, because it can save you from getting in to some very uncomfortable situations.
