He's a lot smarter now when it comes to street racing.

The Shelby GT is 500lbs heavier or so which generally negates the 157HP advantage. The quarter mile times etc. for the two cars are very very close. I would think that the difference would be the driver unless the Shelby GT500 was further modified as it comes with around 662 HP.
Note that the Z06 can be tweaked to add quite a bit of horsepower without even going the supercharger route....but the Shelby GT500 is quite a bit less expensive if you just go by sticker price.
Both are really great cars.
I can't watch the video. As long as they were out where nobody else was around etc. then fine but for cars that can reach insane speeds within the distance of a city block, anything around others is just asking for manslaughter charges.

Well, we all well know that ANY of us out here with some power have used it illegally at some point in time. Even the Police do.......it ain't no big deal. You don't have to lie about it in this thread.

Street racing is a big deal. It gets people killed. If you just have to race, take it to the track or you're a stupid-ass punk. Those are you two options.

They don't have many county roads that are flat and over five miles long with no houses in Chicago. You'll see all the blackmarks.....
If you lose it, you'll end up out in a cornfield, not a concrete wall full of people behind it.
I wouldn't do 125 MPH either in bumper to bumper traffic........
