Cars with PLASTIC components age more rapidly to a point of disrepair.

Integrate electronics (AND HEAT or sun) to the Plastic Components and reduce life even FASTER.

I will take a 1950's 'Hard Dash and Bumpers' to a 1990's (if I plan to FIX & KEEP for next 40 yrs).

As Plastics 'Advance' (more additives,) service life seems to suffer, tho some resins (interior / UV parts + Nylon + Carbon) seem to survive a bit better. Contrary to the greenies... Plastics are NOT forever.

The reliability didn't diminish, because they were using the same engine/transmissions, just with some minor modifications (especially for OBDII).

Just be safe and assume it has an interference engine.

The only non-interference Honda engines I know for sure are in the 86-89 Accords (and probably older).
