No, but there is "obstruction of traffic".

Here in Northeast PA, we get a lot of folks from NYC who don't know that you can turn right on red. You can even turn left on red if coming from a one way street onto another one way street. NYC law is the opposite. You are not allowed to turn on red unless a sign allows you to do so.

That's all true, but remaining stopped at a red light isn't obstruction of traffic.

If you are able to safely turn right on red, and you are in a place where it is legal, why wouldn't you?

If your goal is to turn right, and you're sitting around with or without your turn signal on, you are obstructing traffic.

Rule #1 when dealing with potentially dangerous situations on the road: defuse. If you cannot defuse the situation, then avoidance is the next best thing. Your safety and others' is paramount to any sort of childish or knee-jerk reactions to idiot drivers. The fact OP gave the bird is totally childish.

A solider OR a man doesn't turn to a weapon when confronted with the finger.
U.S. Marine combat VET here buddy.

Nice try though. You don't even know what "stand your ground" laws are and recognize a threat when someone walks up to your vehicle with intent to harm you.

That's ok. you'll be dead playing golden glove champion boxer with someone with a weapon.
