I was wondering what you call the wires that connect to the battery terminals in your car. I have to get them replaced and when I first told the auto center I said I needed the spark plugs replaced. Then I googled spark plugs and found out that they are not what I thought so I called back and said "spark plug wires"??... But after looking at images of them on google I still don't think it is right because they don't look like what I'm trying to replace. Can someone help me with the correct name please

Put down that tool and step away from the car.

If someone doesn't know the difference between battery cables and spark plug wires, they shouldn't even be allowed to open the hood.

In this case, yes!

As simple as a battery cable is, a lot can go wrong and quickly, including having yourself covered in sulfuric acid and a car burning to the ground.

So please, dont attempt to change a battery cable unless you know what you are doing.

It doesn't matter what they are called. The only thing the OP should be calling is a repair shop.

I think the OP is looking for the right name of the battery cables so they CAN tell the repair shop what they need.

Pay no attention to jalapino, he appears to be a troll.
