So which takes precedence, the guy making a right on a green arrow or the guy making a u-turn on the green light? They just set this up recently at an intersection near me and the first day I nearly got hit by the unexpected u-turn. Checked the next day and there was a new sign set kind of far back from the intersection that said right turns yield to u-turns, but I always thought an arrow meant you had a right of way/all clear, no need to stop first? I'm just waiting for a major accident to happen because it's damm hard to tell which of those other cars at the intersection is just making a left at the light, and which are going to swing all the way over into a u-turn. Kind of negates the whole point of the right turn arrow IMO.
That's why we need more Michigan Leffs. They eliminate this problem.
This might actually be legal, but I'm just guessing. A left on red is permitted when going from a one way street to another one way. If it's a divided street, it might be a one way to a one way.
