Face it dude, you are wrong. I've owned all kinds of makes and models. I've had high compression NA four cylinders, turbo four cylinders, and V8's. My dad had a 440 AWHP EVO IX. He has another EVO IX that he is building right now. There are advantages and disadvantages to all engine configurations.

Your turbo engines will never match the throttle response from a naturally aspirated engine. You are a fool for trying to say one engine configuration is better than another.
Christ dude, somehow this went from a specific example - R/T owners maxing out bolt on mods in order to run low 13's (stock times for other non-drag oriented cars) - to comparisons with custom turbo V8's. Yes, with enough money anything is possible, the turbo cars just cost less money to marginally expand the performance envelope.

Definitely not with just a tune. Stock turbo pre 2013 cars are good for 250whp and just under 300wtq reliably (it's a tiny 13T turbo, not bad considering stock dyno is about 180whp). 2013's have a 19T which is good for about 315whp safely and reliably (more if you want to run her ragged). My 2011 has an upgraded factory bolt on turbo (stock manifold) which is a TD05-20G.

Maybe not in a straight line(though STis and Evos are nearly right there with it), but most enthusiasts like for a car not to wet itself when it sees a corner. That's why I've stated that with import turbo 4 and 6s, a person is actually getting a better overall car, performance wise.

This kills me. You can buy a 3 series for the same price as a SRT8 that will accelerate somewhere between a R/T and an SRT8, and you can actually corner with it. Plus it's a nice car.

Yeah, the SRT8 doesn't particularly have a value proposition although the R/T isn't too bad particularly on the used market. It will never be the sportiest car in a price segment because although each model packs competitive horsepower figures, the weight and unexceptional handling do it in although they make great cruisers which isn't a bad thing.

Those poor Challenger owners who clearly don't give a f what many people on this thread. Oh how we should pity them for not being so self-conscious about what is faster.

I wish I could find a better video online but I'm too lazy to make one myself...

Anyway, this is what it's like to get a new Challenger:

My wife drives a 2013 328i - it does not out run my SRT8. Nice try but again...you have no clue what you are talking about. You have two SRT8 owners that have known one another for over 5 years on the MT forums posting here telling you how it really is.

Children should stop bench racing.
