I'm sure you get the idea in what like to drive and would probably buy in the future. If I was to buy an SUV for example, something for me and to replace my personal vehicle, it would have to be something cool like a GTS or Turbo Porsche Cayenne. The wife already has a decent sedan, a 2013 SRT charger but I would consider a sedan, I would probably vote for a Porsche Panarama or2014 Maserati Ghibli. I really don't have any use for a coupe or vert unless it was something like a weekend car.
Convertibles with the roof down 90% of the time just cant beet that open air driving don't know if I would do the same if I lived in a big city. Have two Corvette for speed and Toyota Solara for everyday use.
I see no reason to own a car other then for fuel economy no other benefits for me at least.
An SUV a REAL one not these wannabees like Cherokees and those smaller ones. I'm talking about Suburbans, Tahoes, Yukons, Excursions. Those you can haul real stuff in.
A crossover? Does a crossdresser drive them? What purpose do the serve? lol
Speed...I wished, I ran one over because it couldn't move fast enough to get out of my way.
Learn basic rules of grammar before trying to sound clever and insult others' choices of vehicles, otherwise you will succeed in accomplishing the exact opposite.
Additionally, your 13-MPG truck, while a great machine in its own right, is slower, 0-60, than the ST. So...yeah. Good luck with that. But I've got to ask...how much dune-jumping and off-roading do you do in your spare time?
Two answers for me personally. I like my SUV because it's 4wd, it sits a little higher so I can enjoy the view a little better, and I can travel/camp inside it when I travel.
If I were to domesticate and settle down long-term I would want a 2nd car, a muscle car (Dodge Challenger) to have fun with on summer weekends.
Regular cars do nothing for me.
I guess a sport compact falls under coupe. Most of the time I am by myself, don't need anything too big. When gas prices start to rise, I appreciate that I average 28 mpg. If I need anything bigger for a particular occasion, I will rent. That is one of the perks of working in the car rental industry.
