I have missed green cars in recent years.
Whoops! Meant without.

That's one of the things I thought was cool about the Rav4s - the full sized spare on the hatch.

Chintzy exterior. Saw one yesterday for the first time.

I had a Toyota 2001 Rav4. Loved that little vehicle. Didn't care for the first redesign - they started looking more and more like minivans. I haven't seen this one in person and the pictures make it difficult to say. We've since switched over to Hondas. Not very stylish at all, but they keep going forever. I probably wouldn't be lured back to Toyota for design alone.

I do not like the "rear swept" cargo area window. It is an ugly trend that many automakers are doing on their SUV's right now. The new Ford Escape has adopted the same design.

I wish belt lines would stop moving upward. I appreciate outward visibility and I don't want to rely on a camera to see!

Default No V6?

Like the looks > the old Rav4 and CRV, but no V6, is a killer for me.

I agree and they have kept this design for a couple of redesigns, then when I seen the new model still had it... well that was a little disappointing. THEN what does Ford do? They do the same thing with the Escape! Why create a major blind spot on the D-pillar? Also note how much the Rav4 and Escape look the same! THEN Hyundai has the same upswept design on the Sante Fe Sport.

Rav4

Escape

Sante Fe

^ I like the new Santa Fe, I looked at one at the dealer a couple of months ago that was a copper/orange color. I really liked the interior too.

I love the taillights on this Sante Fe (the one above), but not the upswept look of the rear beltline. I love the larger Sante Fe pictured below (the non Sport model). The rear window is larger and not so upswept.

Here is a another side view of the Sante Fe Sport in comparison...

I agree, the longer V6 Santa Fe is more attractive. Those are the first pics ive seen of it.

I'm guessing the reason they're making those rear side windows so small is because they're using that area for storage compartments.
