About once a week with a 42 mile round trip to and from work plus other short errands. Drive a '07 Ford Fusion which gets surprisingly crappy gas mileage.

You drive an average of 830 miles a month and you fill up one a week? The 2.5 EPA combined MPG rating is 28 and the 3.5 is 23. It has a 20 gallon tank so 540 or 460 per tank. Once a week sounds like a lot.

I own 3 cars to myself, and keep them full at all times. So when i get around 3/4 tank i'll stop and put $20 and it usually does the trick

When my work is in session (I'm off during the summer), I get gas 1x a week in which I always fill up the tank. I work about 30 min, 1-way, 4 days a week.

I'm not the O.P. I fill up with about 850 miles a month about a little over ever 2 weeks.

I can go 2 weeks between fill-ups for my 2007 Chevy Cobalt and almost 3 weeks with my 2013 Kia Optima since it has a much larger gas tank.

'Tis a silly question...
However, I never fill up. I just get a new car whenever it starts to get low....

Actually every time the gauge gets down near empty, which happens at around 400-450 miles like clockwork. Once got 500 miles on one tank (about 10 gallons).

Uh.........It depends on how often I drive,,,duh I found that driving it every day uses more fuel than if I drive it once a week. I think there is a correlation between the 2 but haven't figured it out yet.

Never...but I put diesel in about every 3 weeks. Had to fill it up after returning from a 100 mile road trip. I was able to get over 700 miles/tank, and averaged 49 mpg...no where near as good as Merc's overall average. The average for the vehicle's life has been 43 MPG currently, which is good enough for me...for now.
