I think everyone should buy the car I have. It is a fantastic car and in baffles me that other people choose something else so put me on the 'feels complimented' team.

I'd love it. Especially if they knew a good deal about cars. The more they know about it, the more I can pick their brain when I need to do work.

Belonging to a racing club a lot of us had the same car or close to it depending on what we were into. People really into the car scene also tend to actively seek out others who have their type of car. I mean, if it was such an issue, why would people go to "all Mustang" events to look at hundreds of the same kind of car, lol.

The one time my close friend bought the same car as me I took it as a compliment and even helped him shop for it. He had a SRT-4 and I had my GTO. He wanted a GTO. He looked at a couple that were the exact same as my car, but then settled on a then new 2006 in a completely different color. Didn't bother me at all and we both enjoyed going to GTO events together and racing against each other. The only time I would find it annoying or weird is if someone did the exact same customization as me. There were one group of F-body guy's I knew who all drove 2000-2002 Trans Am WS6's. There were four of them and all of them ended up buying the same head and cam package, going to the same tuner, etc. They came off like total tools to me.

Isn't that the truth. I had one when I was 15 second hardest car to keep running. The first is a Yugo.

Interesting question! It depends. If it's my co-worker and we purchased at the same time, somebody might be a copy cat. Family member- doesn't matter.

I only buy and look for low volume models because they're always the best and rarest model, always more money too. They do hold there value way more and just plain are way more fun to drive, which is what driving is all about!

It wouldn't bother me either way. Why should I care?
