I think it would be perfectly fine to travel in. With only 52k miles it should be like a new car. The reason I wouldn't give top dollar for it is because its probably the least popular bodystyle Accord out there. I like the '08+ bodystyle much better.
The car I drive now, I drive it to work and back and to the grocery store/shopping. If I travel on the interstate, I rent a car. I'm looking to pay $15,000 or less for my next car. Not really interested in a new car or the price. I have a relative in the Houston area who will inspect and test drive the car for me. I live about 7 minutes from my job and don't plan on traveling in the car.
Then why spend that much? By a real beater for 2k or less. I bought mine for 1,800 with 187k miles and 3 years later it's needed nothing but gas and oil changes and has 245k miles. Driving 7 minutes to and from work only isn't good for a car so get a beater.
