that is nice but the woodgrain would look better continuing thru the back rather than sloping down too quickly. a little too much lime green in the back...

Yeah, I agree... here is a better look at one... interestingly, this one has the gas lid on the driver-side quarter panel, but the other does not??? Also, this one appears to have an additional emblem under "Sport Wagon".

The wood-grain on the back of my wagon does down a little, but nothing like on the Sport Wagon, but I think they did that because that how the side trim was on the Skylark sedans.

Here is my '72 Caprice Estate wagon... I took these photos earlier this evening...

Thanks... it is still under restoration. Well as far as MPG, I am not sure. I have never checked it. I have owned this car since 2007, but never drove it much due to engine problems. I think we have it figured out though. As soon as back on the road, which should be soon, I am going to check that out... we shall see. lol.

This car actually has the optional 402 big block engine, but should be about the same as the small block 400. The front fender emblems actually say 400 (for models with the 402) and the ones with the 400 engines didn't even have the emblems, but that is how Chevy did it back then - why, I don't know. lol.
