Best - 2002 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4WD. Bought it with 25k miles and sold it with 130k miles. During that period the only thing I ever had to replace was the O2 sensor which took me all of 30 minutes to replace and cost a grand total of $90. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the interior/cab of the truck was sooooo small, although I think Toyota has fixed this issue on the newer ones.
Worst - 1995 Chevy Silverado w/5.7 liter V8. Bought it with 85k miles and sold it with 140k miles. During that period I replaced, the alternator (twice, although the first one was from Checker), the starter, the fuel pump and I had to have the tranny rebuilt. Also, the crappy plasticy dash rattled a lot and most of the dash and control panel area was cracked and falling apart. What a pile of junk!!!
The best car we have ever owned is still in our driveway. We bought a new Chevy Impala but it just does not do justice to the Buick LeSabre that is now 11 years old and still going. The LeSabre gets better gas mileage too even though it is much bigger and more comfortable to ride in. Big mistake for Buick to stop making them.
Worst car was our Dodge K stationwagon. It spent more time in the repair shop than it did in our driveway. Twice I was driving down the road and the car just quit running.
1998 Nissan Sentra (first car in 2001).
1989 Jeep Cherokee
1998 Honda Civic LX
2007 Mazda 3i
2009 Honda Accord coupe
By far, the worst car was my '98 Civic. I never had an issue with the engine or the transmission, even though the transmission was jerky at higher revs from 1st to 2nd gear. Fall of 2006, this car became an absolute money pit. New brakes, rotors, alternator, battery cables, battery, radiator, and new AC. After I paid about $700 to fix the AC and it quit on me in 2 days, I traded it in on the 2007 Mazda 3i
Best car was my 2007 Mazda 3i. Drove it for almost 6 years and put on 48k miles. Good car, never left me stranded. Got rid of it, due to all the dents, scratches, and drive off accident I had with the car. It became an eye sore, and even though it was paid off, I was ready to drive something different.
I've owned so many 70-74 Cudas and challengers that I lost count.....awesome cars.
good cars I've owned.
93 Eagle Vision....one of my favorites
92 Explorer....I hated that car....nothing worked, everything was broken...but it kept on running so I have to give it some props.
Subaru...one of those boxy wagons....thing couldn't get out of it's own way and I didn't fit in it.....I hated this car to it's very core!
78 Dodge d300 club cab long bed....That thing could haul anything...owned it for almost 20 years...gawd I miss that truck.
Compared to others, we haven't had many cars. I have posted this before.
70 Maverick - I inherited this car by marrying my wife. She bought it used in 72 and it had been in a wreck and abused. It was a money pit and we were fortunate that it didn't break down out in the middle of the desert moving her back here but broke down 2 miles from our final destination. Had engine completely rebuilt and other stuff but wasn't that great.
73 Luxury Lemans - bought it new but used lots of gas, had a big 400cc engine. It was dependable but I was glad to trade for something more econonmical
75 Volvo- Bought new, A big disappointment. While it was fun to drive and made well, fuel injection problems left us by the side of the road in TOO many situations. Started problems shortly after 2 years. After 4 years, I was ready to drive off the cliff. I would have traded it sooner but wanted to qualify for a house in 79
83 - Accord 5-speed - probably the most fun to drive. We almost bought a Cad Cimmeron instead but THANK GOD we didn't. I didn't expect much from this care but ended up keeping it for 14 years.
85 Camry - Pontiac traded for this. A good car but underpowered. Ended up overheating and was not very exciting. Kept it for 15 years though.
97 Accord 5 speed, traded the '83 on this. A bigger car but economical. Not as much fun to drive but reliable. Kept it for 14 years.
85 Chevy S-10, bought from my dad cheap and sold the Camry for a stop gap. Had carb. with 6 cyl. and was not that great. Didn't want payments so saved enough in the meantime to buy '03 Accord
03 Accord 6cy. - Started out a great car , good mileage but have had more problems than other Accords, Has 80k on the speedo but not taking out on the road anymore. Somewhat of a disappointment.
00 Chevy s-10 inherited from my dad and sold the 97 Accord. Very low miles on the speedo. It was okay but not very economical.
05 Deville - inherited from dad as well. Decided to sell 00 S-10 and keep Caddy as I could get more for the truck. The Caddy has been fine so far. I don't drive a lot and we take it on trips now. Low miles on the speedo. If it starts costing big money then will dump it. It is a nice car, though, great cruiser.

Worst car: 1999 ford escort
Best car: any old Volvo I have ever owned love them.
'91 Ford F150 - Held up ok during my teenage years. 5.0 was rock solid. Transmission not so good.
'97 Ford Explorer - Darn near indestructible. Rough ride though.
'01 Dodge Ram 1500 "Off Road" Edition - Best looking but worst reliability. Water pump, heater core, transmission issues
'00 Toyota Tacoma 2.7 5 spd 4x4 - Best all-around. 230K and counting. Nothing but oil changes since bought at 120K.
'03 Toyota 4Runner V8 2wd - Drives like new at 130K. Had to tighten the valve cover bolts on the 4.7....other than that, no issues at all.
Ive owned many cars other than this but for these two categories, reliability wise...
Best cars ive owned: 1987, 1999, 2012 Vw's, 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
