Brilliant, brilliant choice. It's extremely hard to find unmolested ones these days, or one that still has the stock motor, but they are incredible cars. The engineers and designers were way ahead of their time.
Agreed. And finding one that someone hasn't totally ruined with some pos body kit is pretty tough or just completely ragged on the motor too. I keep looking occasionally as you just never know what you'll come across.

I love love love the MKIV Toyota Supra Turbo but that's a dream abandoned. I've given up looking for one in CA that hasn't been abused.
The NSX is another of those cars I put up there with the Supra and just timeless good looks. Solid choice there. As far as the MKIV goes, I'm searching across the country for the perfect one as I would gladly pay a transport fee from wherever to get a nice, non-abused one in my garage!
The NSX, MKIV, 300zx TT and to a lesser extent the 3000GT VR-4 and Dodge Stealth R/T are all cars I'd love to see in my garage one day for my Sunday drives!
I'm too much of a tightwad to pursue owning a "dream" car; I just bought a 2008 Focus with 48K on the odometer, and hope to break my previous record of 142K.
But before I depart this life, I would like to make another trip to Southern California, rent a 1957 Ford (the retractable roof is a bit much, but a two-tone paint job would be nice) and go for one long cruise.
Mine is a Mazda Miata Retractable Hardtop. I've always wanted an open roof car. And the Miata is a fun little driver. Catches eyes but is not so desirable that you're afraid to leave it unattended while getting groceries.
Plus the chicks dig it. There was a time chicks would literally jump in your Miata as you're stopped at the corner.
"
Miata is best bang for the buck if you like small roadsters, Great forum, lots of aftermarket stuff, many clubs,
I just sold my Miata after 10 years of fun,Reason for selling was at 65 years old i got tired of driving the same twisty roads over and over in whats basically a large well equipped go Kart that was becoming increasingly hard to get in and out of..
Best of the pics,, a wet morning at 6am,those in the know know what happens next.. http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g1...ps00f3f923.jpg
The wife and I are both early 30's so in the 90's when we started driving and were all into cars that was the one we both drooled over at the time. It's still a car that when we're fortunate enough to see one on the road we both stare at it or stop and look. Just love those cars, their design and of course the power they make or are capable of making modified.

Bought mine in 99' and you can have it when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.
