I was considering altima 2007 but I heard they got problems. I've seen several deals for acura tsx 2005 <130k miles <11k$, what do you guys think? Does that model have a lot of problems and are acura reliable?

If I was a young person with that budget, I'd get a Jeep Wrangler, Pontiac GTO, or a Camaro Z28 or SS. You only live once, drive something fun.

But an Accord, Camry, or Accord are always solid choices.

Here is a bargain for $12K: http://pueblo.craigslist.org/cto/4135554763.html

350HP V8 RWD cruiser. Corvette engine and tranny, good stuff that will last a long time and anyone can service it. Will hold it's value well, so won't lose much when you upgrade to a new Corvette in 5 years when you're making the big bucks.

Just have to verify not in an accident, doesn't have the factory 2004 hood (it's a 05-06). Insurance could be an issue though, but worth comparing to an Altima.

Last year, I got a 2006 Toyota Corolla LE AT with 97,500 miles for 8,000. The car looks and runs fine, and will hopefully last another 150k miles.

2008/09 subaru legacy. i have a 09 and havent had any issue with it...and its all wheel drive, if that matters. comes with High end audio and aux input. fold down seats. alloy wheels. very clean interior layout. very good steering feel. comes in manual or auto.

i have one and my only regret was not getting a manual transmission.

Altima I also kinda like, but not sure if its much better than mazda. Accord I just really don't like the design. SO any suggestion would be fine. Oh sr in advance if this is not the right place to post this.

This will be the car i'm going to use until i'm done with college, or at least until I have more than 10000$, which won't be anytime soon, so i kinda want something that I won't hate driving in. yeah most cars that i'm looking at are at lowest 70k miles, usually 80-90k, if cheaper just hit 100k miles. can't go any lower than that. If I go lower, car's older, and that adds up more miles. So i'd rather go newer with high miles for its age.
Acura TL or Nissan Maxima 2005 or so

Reminds me of my buddies car in high school .. an old chevy Renault for around $500. complete junker but ran.. there was a huge hole where the gear shifter was.. had to use pliars to get it into drive.. ashed the cigarettes through the bottom of the car through the hole..no heat in blistering cold weather.. went for cruises on back roads anyways.. remember one time the battery was dead so we pushed the car to jump it.

pretty funny looking back..
