Lets talk about and show off our classic and collectible cars. Here's my 1976 Monte Carlo:

When purchased: Bought from my brother around 1984
Motor: 350 with edelbrock performer carb and intake, dual exhaust
Odometer: 140k

It is not fancy or especially valuable, but it is fun!

Keim,
I have had a few classics over the years, and these pictures are of my current one.
1966 Thunderbird Town Landau.
It underwent a complete restoration three years ago, just before I purchased it.
The only thing I have done too it is, added a new sound system last year.
This bird is every bit as nice as the day it was made.
It is like it is 1966 all over again, and I just drove it out of the dealership.

Bob.

Very nice. I'm impressed it still has the fender skirts over the back wheels. Were those a Landau option? Nice looking car.

In 1966, the fender skirts were an option.
They were standard equipment on the 64 and 65 Tbirds.

Thanks for the compliments about my bird.
I traded my 2006 Mazda 3 hatchback for it.
The seller wanted $17,000 for the Tbird, and the Mazda was valued at just about the same price when I got the Tbird.
All in all, it was a great deal for me, because soon after, I had the car appraised, and at that time it was appraised at $22,000
It is insured with an agreed value of $24,000.
Every year I keep it, it is going to be worth more.
The personal license plates were added a couple of years ago, soon after it was used in two commercials.
Bob.
