For those of you having hissy fits because some drivers actually drive safely and don't immediately turn right in every situation if the right lane is clear but evaluate the situation first and sometimes wait, and that makes you have to wait an extra 10 seconds, consider how long you're going to have to wait if they pull out and have an accident right in front of you. That might help your blood pressure a bit.
Like many above, for me it depends on the situation (want what I'm driving). Traffic in the other lanes, time of day (which influences whether people are more likely to change lanes unexpectedly, I've noticed), what vehicle I'm driving (the Dodge Ram pickup is more likely to need a little more than one lane clear to turn safely than the CRV, for example), all the variables that go into making safe driving decisions.
And for those who are insisting that people should get out of your way because the law says you can't change lanes in the middle of an intersection (and I used to think that was the case here, only to find out I was mistaken, by the way), I take it that you, yourself, absolutely always obey each and every traffic law (including the speed limit) all the time?

Who are these people? Can you identify a single one from this thread?
I wait until the whole road is clear, too many idiots who are changing lanes in intersections where I live. It shouldn't be this way.

I wait for a big enough opening in the right or left and squeeze right on it. Skinny right pedal for the win!
Sadly, more people out here dont wait for any lane to be clear and just pull right out. Ive rear ended 3 of them in one year. They all got tickets and were lucky I saw them soon enough to where I was greatly able to reduce my speed.
