I've had a couple cars that were modified and I'd take them to car shows and enter them. If they won that would be cause for some celebration. Also celebrated a few times for setting new dyno records, but that's about it.
ill probably celebrate paying off my car lil, as far as mileage is concerned i have never celebrated, but i do take a moment of silence to look a the odometer when it has zeros.
This past August I celebrated the first time in eight years without a car payment. That $280 looks real nice moving into my retirement account every month. I plan to go at least another two years before getting a new one. Woot!

My wife sent me a photo when the miles hit 100K and then 150K.
Also when the car was paid off, last payment we did yell something .
We laugh and talk we love out old van even though it isnt looking so good anymore.
Next summer it turns 10 years old. It should be about 180K by then also.
The last one I observed was 222,222 on a Toyota Previa. It made 234,567, but I can't remember noticing. The tenths digit was on the trip-odometer only.
I am definitely planning to celebrate when my '98 Acura hits 300,000 miles (it's at 296,000 now). I will have a camera in the car and plan to send the shot of my odometer to all my friends and family when it happens. Then I will reward my Baby with a detailing.
I dont "celebrate" per se but its been a running joke for years that every time it hits a noticeable mileage (5k, 10k, 50k, etc) that it's "time to trade it in". Even if we've had it a week.

That's awesome. My Odyssey has such low mileage, I estimate it will take another 20 years before it hits 100k (currently sitting at a little over 35k, and I bought it in July 2005).
