I just bought a new Silverado (made in Indiana) but a bulk of them are made in Mexico. GM is having trouble with Texans shooting at the rail cars bringing new trucks into the US so they are now loading them on ships and bringing them to America by water instead.

I have passed on Mexican made trucks in the past. I don't see anything Mexican as quality, their beer/resorts/consumer products are all terrible so why spend 20K on something you want to be quality made if it is also from Mexico?

Canadian made, no problem. I do think it is ironic though that the new Camaro (Heartbeat of America) is made in Canada!

Canada/US, what's the difference

Although for that matter, the southwestern US and Southern California are increasingly becoming more and more like Mexico. Albeit these areas were once part of Mexico anyway...
