I see there's a sign on the vehicle that indicates its some kind of adventure tour. Not on your life would I want that kind of "thrill."

I have seen narrow gauge railroads on narrower shelves. I would drive a road like that but would not trust anyone to drive me.

A train is on a fixed track, it can't turn the wheel and fall off and deal with other trains passing it. They could have made this shelve narrower but then it wouldn't serve a purpose.
