I seem to recall President Obama being severely criticized and trashed by the Republicans and "Faux" (Fox) News for proposing and advocating of the temporary bailout of "Government Motors" (GM), in order to save millions of jobs and in spite of the fact that the loans were being paid back early and completely.
Only a few if you actually read through the list. And the sharing declines every year as models are phased out. Mazda will eventually quit using Ford based V6 engines. Their Skyactiv 4 cylinder engines outperform Ford's competitive (and home grown) Ecoboost 4 cylinder engines.
So at first you said that was a long time ago, and when proven it is still occurring you make another excuse. A man admits when he's wrong, so you've proven your qualities. Get the pink ones, because they'll look best.
So Gm's horrific recall was from the 2003 model year, and involved less than 200,000 units. Toyota's minor error (in your standard) started in the 2004 model year, and involved 6.5 million units.
Okay, at least we know you're not biased in any way? REALLY

Toyota is still tops with 2.5 million. Take a math class and you'll realize that's a million more crappy cars from Toyota in a single recall. I'm just seeking truth, and will never buy another GM product, but your lies don't change facts.

Will you feel better if I admit I was wrong? It is also true Ford benefited from their partnership with Mazda. Mazda benefited also - mostly on two engines. Now that the two companies are not partners, the platformes are diverging.
Ford couldn't make Jaguar, Volvo, or Range Rover successful.
But this thread is really about GM. They shared with Toyota!

Sometimes you don’t need to have a recall to know that a car company builds crap. The Vega, Aztec, Cavalier, Sunfire, the list goes on and on with GM.
If America depended on GM to get to work I can sarcastically say our GDP would drop to that of a banana republic.

Actually, it is a value I hold dear, so yes it does matter. Ford brought Jaguar from a car you converted to a gm drivetrain to respectable. Volvo was probably an equal share, and Ford learned from Mazda. However, it was Ford that brought this together.
