Would be more than happy to lock the Audi in at 90 on a long stretch with wife and kids in for the ride.

In my company car I will cruise 210-220 kmh if in a zone with out speed limit. My car is not so fast but 140 to 150kmh is normal.

Between 85 and 90, in the right lane at all times except when I'm passing another vehicle.

Within 10 of the limit most times. Friends who are cops say most will give you ten if you aren't driving like an idiot. Unless you're on a long trip, the risk reward of over that just isn't worth it to me.
Driving 85 vs. 75 on an hour trip saves you 8 minutes.
I have no problems with good, safe drivers going faster. No tailgating, use your directionals, and as above, don't drive like an idiot.

The posted speed limit assuming that both the road condition were okay and the traffic was not heavy.

Within 10 mph of the speed limit or as conditions permit (slower).

Without speed limits, I averaged out to around 90-100 mph...and would "cruise" around 85.

It depends on my vehicle and road/weather conditions. But generally speaking I tend to cap out around 80 MPH unless I'm driving my Passat on an open highway with dry conditions, then it's between 90-100 MPH.

The logic about only saving a few minutes is entirely flawed. I used to drive 1,300 miles per week including two mega-trip of 500 miles each way and the difference between averaging 70 MPH and 60 MPH was worth an hour or more each way. In one direction it meant an additional hour of sleep and in the other direction it meant an extra billable hour (worth $90). So when people say I reduced my fuel efficiency I would point out that I spent an extra $8 on gas but netted and additional $82 as a result.

The question is just too vague and open.

Are we talking about if we are driving a high performance car with rated equipment or our daily driver?

I answered based upon my daily experience. I feel safe, with appropriate conditions, driving between 70 and 80. Sometimes, I might push the envelope to 85, but those are relatively rare conditions.

Now, when I drove from Langres to Nice, I went for very long stints driving at 210KMH (130MPH). I made very good time.

I picked 100+. No speed limits, good tires, good weather would have me between 90-110. I generally cruise around 80 as it is.
