The 275s are. The 245s will work fine. Why are you staggering the tires? You need wider wheels in the back. I believe a 275 should be on a 8 inch wide minimum

It's a rear wheel drive sports car. I was thinking a 8.5 min for a 275 tire. I may just buy a whole new set of wheels that are 9.5 wide.

A 275 wide tire is designed to be mounted on a 8-10 inch wide wheel.

Why not post what car it is? The secrecy is silly.

Stagger the wheel sizes if you want to do it correctly.

^ This. If you're running staggered tire sizes, especially staggered widths, run staggered wheel widths too.

245 are actually a little bit too wide for 7.5" rims as well. They will fit, but it's not ideal. 8" or 8.5" would be better. For 275's, I wouldn't go with anything less than a 9" rim.

I agree. I wouldn't put 245s on 7.5"; 9" width is minimum for me.
