I received the car as the 2nd owner. The first owner never had the 02 sensor replaced. I think I will get the parts and do it this weekend. The car runs great. Only burns a little oil but is mechanically sound. The only reason I asked this was because my brother has an older Toyota pickup and his 02 sensor has been out for 2 years. He just drives with the light on.

You might want to consider discussing automotive maintenance issues with someone other than your brother!

Good point. He has blown two engines in his life.
