Good Luck
After I smeared some of the WD-40 on it while trying to get the locks to work, it actually looked pretty good in those spots. I was thinking the same thing, that some Armor-all would make it look really nice.

What a wacky thing for a 58 year old woman to haul into her senior apartment, eh? LOL! You should have seen the look on the manager's face when I wheeled the thing through the lobby and into the elevator on my little rolling cart (like a cheap version of a dolly that I bungy cord a box to for groceries). I had the thing bungy corded to the cart, but it was also leaning on me. It's actually pretty lightweight, but you could barely see me behind the thing.

I just told people I got it for free and was going to give it to my friend. I sure didn't want to tell anyone I was going to sell it. They'd wonder what the heck I'd show up with next!

These things I do don't even phase my friends and family anymore. They just shake their heads and chuckle.

Will tackle the locks again tomorrow. Hoping an overnight marinade of WD-40 will work wonders.

Thanks for that tip! Well, I called my friend up and she will take it and deal with it from here to use in her truck bed. I told her Merry Christmas LOL!

I'll tell her about the PB Blaster. Now the one door I got open can't shut because I can't get the lock mechanism to move into the right spot. I wrestled the thing back into my bathroom until she can come get it next weekend. I had to move my toothbrush to the kitchen.

Thought you all would get a kick out of this:

Like I said, no more freebies from Craigslist come into my tiny apartment unless it can fit in my closet from now on lol! But, my friend is excited to get the toolbox, and that makes it worth it.

Thanks for your help everyone.

I have a tool box w push button locks. It's unlocked but one of the buttons won't push all the way in and lid won't open. It started out as the right one wouldn't go in but the left would. I drowned the right in wd40 and now it goes in but now the left won't. Any help
