After I smeared some of the WD-40 on it while trying to get the locks to work, it actually looked pretty good in those spots. I was thinking the same thing, that some Armor-all would make it look really nice.
What a wacky thing for a 58 year old woman to haul into her senior apartment, eh? LOL! You should have seen the look on the manager's face when I wheeled the thing through the lobby and into the elevator on my little rolling cart (like a cheap version of a dolly that I bungy cord a box to for groceries). I had the thing bungy corded to the cart, but it was also leaning on me. It's actually pretty lightweight, but you could barely see me behind the thing.
I just told people I got it for free and was going to give it to my friend. I sure didn't want to tell anyone I was going to sell it. They'd wonder what the heck I'd show up with next!
These things I do don't even phase my friends and family anymore. They just shake their heads and chuckle.
Will tackle the locks again tomorrow. Hoping an overnight marinade of WD-40 will work wonders.
