Or take up cigars! I recommend the El Presidente from Cuba!

Two easier household options:

1) take a cup, fill it with paper towels and vinegar (to keep the vinegar from sloshing around.)
2) take a cup, and put coffee grounds in it.

Both absorb the odors pretty well and don't leave a masking cover scent. We used it for two cars in my family; one that was purchased from a smoker and one that reeked of old lady perfume.

You can put a Bounce dryer sheet (or 2) in your car and it will absorb all odors from the car.

You can also use charcoal--get pan and put new briquets in it--put under the seat or just set it in floor well and close the car up and let it sit--
if you let it sit in warm spot--sun on it--the air will heat more quickly and bring the odors out...to be absorbed...
it works in house for bad smells as well--like charcoal filter...

Maybe you've been led to believe that there's no smoke smell, but that would be a first. I've never been in the home or vehicle of a smoker where I couldn't smell smoke.

It must be stuck on some touch surface. Steering wheel, seat, door, console, something has perfume *on* it. If you haven't wiped everything off with whatever cleaner is appropriate for that part, do it.

Also another vote for ground coffee beans. You'd think they would smell up the whole car, but they don't. You can fill a sock or something like that (tie it off, obviously) and toss it under the seat.

Put small amounts of vinegar in cups throughout the cabin and change the vinegar out everyday, this works.

Those ozone thingies are the best...and really work...they could get the smell of
a smoldering SEAT outta there!
