Customizable dashboard display. Allows the driver to add things like vacuum, voltage, RPM, etc. default gauges include speed and fuel. They could allow such display on the nav screen.

Instead of a "check engine" light, a warning with diagnostic info displayed on nav screen.

Floats that pop up when you hit a certain level of water, so that you can survive when you become submerged in a flash flood or you drive into a lake.

My next door neighbor has a 69 that sits in his driveway. He use to start it every now and then just to hear the engine but not even that now. I should offer him $500 for it.

Long overdue is a return to the base model without all of the technology. I don't want all of that in a truck. I want a straight 6, manual trans, manual windows/locks and a rubber floor mat. Can I have the option of 15" wheels, please? AC is a must and a radio would be cool. I don't need 10 charging ports, bluetooth, backup sensors/cameras or the other fluff people think they need. It's a truck and you need to be aware of the fact.

A car that recognizes obesity and laziness!

One day you go out to start the car, and it won't turn over, and a message appears:

"I ain't goin' nowhere today! Last time you got behind the wheel of the car you weighed 252 pounds, 2 pounds more than yesterday! Ain't drivin' you a half-mile to the Dairy Queen! Today you walk!"

-How about a V8 with over 300hp and 300ft*lbs of torque that gets 50mpg.

-Customized CPU maps that you can switch using a touch screen interface on the dash. One map gets you 50mpg. Another adds more low end torque for towing. Another map gives the engine more peak horsepower....etc

-A car with a self guiding repair manual that speaks to you and gives you instructions as you work on it and includes a diagnostic feature.
