We were in the market for a new Sonata and found out the leather was only very partial in the seats. Then we were in the showroom and sat in one, surprisingly covered in full leather, rear seats included head to toe, and front seats front to back. On the sticker it said it was an add-on by a 3rd party - we couldn't believe it could be done so well. We negotiated that $1k msrp into our sale and we were off with a Sonata in full leather that nobody could tell was an add-on. I had cloth in my '95 SUV (which did tear at a seam and stained) and didn't mind it but once I bought a 2nd car with full leather interior, I'd look-down at my old interior. Once you go leather, you can't really go back - it just felt so cheap and 90s when we were sitting in brand new Sonatas 20 years later without it. I think cloth should also go the way of cassette decks.
Leather looks good but I'd rather sit in a cloth seat. Softer, warmer. Some think leather is forever.
I've been in the detailing business for 15+ years. That leather was not cleaned/conditioned regularly. Another thing to know is that denim fabric is very abrasive.

It was probably Katzkin. I've heard great things about them.
I hate leather! Sticky and hot in the summer, cold in the winter, slippery, and after age it cracks and looks like chit. I love cloth it feels so comfortable and soft. The cloth seats in my 1997 tahoe show hardly no wear at all and the truck has 190,000 miles on it.
The only advantage leather has in my opinion is ease to clean it. But most cars/trucks that have cloth seats are scotchguarded anyway.
I'll never have a car without leather.... I've had two Honda accords and the first was fully loaded with leather.
My second Honda did not have leather... it is such a pain to keep clean. When I took my mom's dog for a trip, it took me forever to get the hair out.
