I wanted to include more dealers in my True Car search, so I used different zip codes to get Truecar to include dealers in the bigger city approx 100 miles from where I live. I ended up buying from a dealer that was approx 90 miles away.

I don't think Truecar is the best price but it also isn't the worst price.

If you leave a few hundred dollars on the table that is okay in my opinion if it saves you time.

Eh... when I bought my car, I bought it just about $2k less than what TrueCar noted as "GREAT PRICE"

Ahh the good old days when people didn't mind face to face negotiations. I have heard Truecar is tied in with the dealers now so be wary.
