General Motors Co , already locked in a public relations crisis because of a deadly ignition defect that has triggered the recall of 2.6 million vehicles, has a new perception problem on its hands.

The U.S. company is now considered the worst big automaker to deal with, according to a new survey of top suppliers to the car industry in the United States.

Maybe all the Tier 1 suppliers will stop selling to GM, but I doubt they will.

But they are GM. The rules don't apply to them.

There will always be problems whenever the government is involved in anything. Throw in the slugs of the UAW, and I cannot believe GM supplanted Chrysler as the worst only this year!

I can't believe a US citizen would post a link that doesn't work making claims against a US manufacturer. Do Japanese citizens talk about how bad Toyota is, because their government bailed them out? Or are they just that much in love with an inferior product they feel the need to bash the opponent, because Toyota has killed far more people with their runaway car issue with millions of recalls?

Someone still has their blinders on I see.

The link works fine. And, it's actually a relevant story from 2 days ago, not 6-8 years ago as some people are apt to post.

I guess it's like others who complain about selling to Walmart. Link works now, but no smoking gun, and GM is still superior even though they were bailed out just like Toyota!

Hmm. The US is a very distant 3rd when it comes to who makes the best cars.

GM of course would be even lower, below Ford, Tesla, etc.
