150, and it was the first day I bought my car. Saw a car on the side of the road, and slowed down. Was sure it wasn't a cop. But it was. He clocked me going 85 or 88. That was in ark or alabama as I was driving home from buying the car from Maryland. That was in 07. I still haven't paid that ticket.

126 on US287 between Vernon and Wichita Falls in a 76 Grand Marquis. They had a automated radar unit out and I wanted to see what she would do. 460. No ticket. Happened in 2003.

In California, anytime you go triple digits/30 mph over the posted limit, they say you can be taken straight to jail. Some cops are cool and will do you a favor and write you up for 85, even if you were doing 125. but if it was a "construction zone" the fine is automatically doubled. So I do know someone who got a $1000 speeding ticket.

If you try to run, you are now committing a felony. You know some cops live for that? They won't just politely cuff you, they are gonna beat you with the clubs too, and if they really get excited, they might shoot you.

Last week I saw some guys doing 160+mph on an abandoned desert road (wasn't me!). It actually wasn't that impressive.
