I'm curious as to what exactly you are texting to other people while you are driving?

Or if someone else sent you a text message while they were driving, what did they say? What was the text conversation about?

I'd never text anything to anyone while driving...that's a traffic fatality just waiting to happen. Here in the wonderful Garden State, I share the roads with some serious deranged individuals.

Therefore, I have a VERY full plate as it is and cannot afford to even consider doing something like this anyway...even if the highway is clear, it makes zero sense to do this.

IF I receive a text from someone else, it's normally BS that isn't that important at all (i.e. I'm hungry, what should we order for dinner?)

Hands on the wheel, eyes on the road.

I think the people you see with a phone glued to their ear or constantly sending a text are those who are paying through the nose for an 'unlimited' plan and feel they have to get their monies worth. This puts other people at risk for property damage, injury or death.
I wonder how many people doing this realize that while doing 45 mph, taking their eyes off the road for 5 seconds, have traveled 330 feet.

Well you have this:

Woman dies in car wreck moments after posting about 'happy song' on Facebook | syracuse.com

I can’t think of a more embarrassing way to die than posting that you like this awful song.

Agreed. That nonsense could have waited until she was at her destination, so she could have lived to be told how ignorant the song is!

Another one of those . . . NOT WORTH THE RISK, Billy J.

Every "Cell Phone Junkie" I know claims it is not a problem and they can do it safely. About 50% of them have been in an accident of some type due to their "addiction".

There's absolutely no Text Message or Cell Phone Call that is worth the risk of an accident, regardless of the severity. Remember, it is impossible to "undo" an accident causing property damage, personal injury and/or death.
