Would like to have this truck but not willing to pay 61,000 dollars for it.

If you have a small mountain to move, you may well be drawn to heavy-duty pickups. The four-star 2015 GM Sierra HD 4WD Double Cab may well be your tool, or augmentation, of choice.

Okay. So pay what it MSRPs for which is about $44k after the current $4k cash back. Even then you're getting ripped off. In under a year it will selling for the high 30ks.

I've been familiar with Mr. Phelan's work for many years and when he's not outright factually inaccurate, he's a slappy for the home team. In other words, an incredibly poor source of information, no better than consulting a Magic 8 ball. IIRC, he was suspended by the Freep at one time for either 'pay for play' or just makin' stuff up, I forget which transgression it was.

I'm sure if you checked every option box you could get it up to $61k. Trucks these days are really dual purpose both workhorses and luxury vehicles. Near $20k in options and various accessories wouldn't surprise me. They all have a ton of baubbles these days.

They don't sell for anywhere near close to MSRP. If you really want a deal, GM is dumping the 14s (old style).
