FD RX7's are fairly rare in any condition but particularly hard to find a clean example. It's the kind of car I can go months without seeing on the road.

Actually, you claim to own more than sports car and don't know why you experience the behavior you do?

Come on.

Take a drive up the road from San Bruno, you'll see them all over the place. Head to the East Bay, they are there too. Head to Sacramento, same thing.

An RX7 in very good condition can be found most anywhere cars are driven.

Here you go:

1990 Mazda RX7 "Extremely Low Mileage"

1993 Mazda RX7

Both for cheap. There are over 50 of them in the same area you live. That is just from some ad place like craigslist.

RX7s are a dime a dozen, in any condition you want. For about the same price as a Kia Soul, you can have a pristine RX7 with very low mileage and in ready to go.

I takes about 5 minutes to find an RX7 that is near showroom clean for the same price as an economy car.

I'm not saying the RX7 is a bad car, far from it but they aren't rare, hard to find in good condition nor something people hand out the windows or fall out of cars to gawk at.

FC RX7 are fairly common, but FD are very rare as you can tell by the $15k asking price for a 21 year old project car.

FD RX7's are rare because they either blew up the engine or burned; it is the same story with Vega's and Pinto's. It doesn't make them valuable.

Just yell at them to get off your lawn and shake your cane at them?

3rd gen RX7's are nice cars and are notable for their stellar handling. While they are "rare" compared to a car like the Corvette, it's not hard to find and buy one if you want one. It's also a question of where the OP resides... an RX7 may get a glance from people like me who also grew up having a 90's Asian supercar, but that's about it. Here, they're just not a big deal.

Yes, I own more than one sports car.

Yes, I have experienced young man behavior when it comes to cars many, many times. Anyone who owns almost any kind of popular sports car has. What I was asking about is the psychology of why someone would behave this way.

Just as I am now going to ask what's with you and your psychology?

Apparently, you think it is odd that I would state that I own a fairly rare car. Or that anyone would want to roam the county by some other conveyance.

You put these two things together and somehow add in that I own a gun and now you seem so bent on trying to prove that these three things add up to "I am pulling something over on the C-D crowd?" What's up with that?

Don't let that hair irritate you, cough it up!!!
