I've been watching it since the inaugural season. It's improved a lot and I like the guys they have, even the fat hipster guy Rutledge.

Last night, Tanner got to hoon an F12 Ferrari. Ridiculous stuff.

Any fans?

Only saw 1 or 2 episodes from the first season, some parts were ok but it just pales in comparison to the original UK series in my opinion.

Much more outlandish challenges, specials, interviews, presenter chemistry in the latter...and there really is no substitute for Jeremy Clarkson!

You say it has improved though so maybe I'll check it out again, any episode in particular you recommend?

Occasionally.. I did last night to see the spot my buddy Conrad filmed with his drift Camaro. Pretty sweet. Sonoma is a fun track. TV does not do its elevation changes justice. Half the corners are completely blind.

Not really, I watched a couple episodes of the first season and it just wasn't funny. Tanner has the personality of a frozen cucumber, Adam Carolla I just find douchebaggish, and the fat hipster just seemed mildly retarded.

Watched the 1st season, wanted to like it, gave it every single chance. Missed most of last season, caught the episode with the 4x4s(Ranger Rover, Brute, and the FJ) and it just seemed like a bit Dodge commercial. No real objectivity, rehashed challenges(poorly done) and each presenter usually wins a challenge

Adam Caroll isnt in the US Top gear, it's Adam Ferrara

Watch it on a regular basis. Love it. The guys seem to blend well into a group, like seeing them harass eachother. Tanner almost always wins the challenges. Even though, they cheat on most of them. Also most of the challenges prove nothing about the vehicles they are driving. Anyhow, it's such a fun show. I will keep tuning in.

There was an episode last season where they had to reach some mountain in Iceland. Absolutely beautiful cinematography, and just a great episode overall. They basically get into off-terrain vehicles and are forced to go from cabin to cabin over a few days in the frozen tundra with severe weather conditions until they reach the previously mentioned mountain.

I also liked the Nascar episode from last season where Rutledge has to drive a tiny car (basically 1 seater, and he actually drives into a grocery store and goes shopping inside of it LOL).

Huh, might have to check 'em out.

The Iceland episode reminds me of the UK Top Gear where they race to the North Pole via truck and dog sled and the tiny car one sounds similar to the one where Jeremy drives his P45 through a library and other indoor places in London.

I've watched all of it and continue to follow it. The show has improved drastically since the first season and is good entertainment as far as I'm concerned. I also follow the UK show religiously.

I never got into it. It wasn't terrible, but it just did not spark my interest like Top Gear UK.

If it doesn't have Clarkson, it's not really the same.
