Just got back from walking the dog. A neighbor's visitor was driving a Geo Tracker. I remember when these vehicles first came out, some people loved them for their price and fun factor on the dunes. Though not powerful, they were light weight.

I have my 2nd Chevy Tracker and they are reliable but not the most comfortable vehicle to drive. However I just use it as a work and drive locally vehicle so it fits the bill and was not expensive to purchase. 4WD is nice to have.

neighbors still have their Tracker, and the Sidekick guy rides by the house three times a day, he must have at least three hundred thousand miles on it.

I have a 1994 Sidekick with a broken timing belt (will have to fix it before winter). Anyway, the Sidekick and Tracker 4x4 with HI/LO range make for one of the best off road rigs around once you have beefed the suspension and installed the right tires. Small motor, but plenty of torque to crawl around at low speed, and lots of visibility all around the hood.

My wife has a 2009 Suzuki Gran Vitara. It has several advantages over my V6 2005 Ford Escape. It is peppier/more responsive, handles better/quicker, brakes better. The insides are not as posh nor as comfortable and cheaper but it is a great run around in vehicle. She loves it.

Yes a different car but a tribute to Suzuki quality.

The older Trackers are everywhere here, most likely because gas has always been more expensive than on the mainland.

I was concerned about getting parts when Suzuki announced they will no longer sell vehicles in USA. Sounds like it shouldn't be a problem which is good since I plan on keeping my 2003 Tracker for a few more years.

parts should be easily available, and if not then get on a suzuki forum, and they an detail how to modify parts to work with your tracker.
