All of these are great cars. If I had unlimited money a 1956 M-B 300 street, not race, car. Equally desirable would be a 1958 Jag XK-140 with a resto rod suspension and brakes and a roots type supercharger.

The 1978 dodge Lil Red Truck Express with the 360 4 barrel back then it was the fastest American made vehicle went from 0 to 100. I loved the chrome stacked exaust pipes and the decade and wood grain on the bed.

Well done to the OP for producing the video.

Here's my coolest car (any excuse to show this video!);

Coolest car ever built... I could never pick just one, but several I would mention have already been named.

That being said... I think the overall winner for a "coolest" car ever would have to be the Lamborghini Countach. That car literally shocked the world with its amazing styling and performance. It was an instant icon, and that's something that modern Lambos and Ferraris can't say anymore.

Honorable mentions, the Porsche 959. That car was so technologically advanced, there are cars today that still don't have as much techno stuff in them. The drivetrain was incredible, they were produced in very low numbers, and a billionaire lobbied to get US law changed just to get one imported (Bill Gates.)

Jaguar E-Type is one of the most beautiful cars ever made, but I wouldn't say "coolest", same goes for classic Aston Martins.

Another honorable mention...

The Chrysler ME 412. It would have been the quickest and fastest production car in the world if they would have released it in 2004. Stunning looks, killer performance, and a true American supercar.

I had a '68 Charger RT when I was 18 but I would say that this one is cooler.

Even though in this picture the car is a little dorked up with the wheels ect, but still a cool car.

My brother had one of these, very cool car even though I liked my Charger better but he could blow the doors of my car. He had the 440 6pak and it made quick work of my 383 4BBL.

There are a lot of cool cars made, way too many for me to list and so many custom builds. That is why I prefer to go to car shows that show case some of the coolest cars out there.

even after 40 years I cannot stop looking at this car. most would not agree, I know. I like how they tried to match the Monte Carlo and Gran Torino Elite. love the louvered window.
